City Tour

Surrounded by endless fields of shimmering wheat, today’s Saskatoon is a pocket of
Saskatchewan’s culture, vitality, and welcoming prairie spirit. With the South Saskatchewan
flowing through the middle of the city, river life is integral to the heart of the city.
The tour of the beautiful city of Saskatoon starts with a visit to River Landing, University of
Saskatchewan, and by Innovation Place, Broadway Avenue and the neighborhood of
Riversdale.

BREWERY TOURS

Whether you are a Local or a visitor, we’ll whisk you away on a fun and informative craft beer
adventure that includes 3 breweries in 3 hours each located in a unique brewery neighborhood
of Saskatoon.
At each brewery you’ll enjoy behind a beer tasting with a brewery owner or sommelier
(cicerone). A meal will be served at the second location. Savour a wide variety of Saskatoon’s
finest craft beers and get to share some laughs with fellow beer lovers!

Indigenous Heritage/Pioneer Spirit Combination Tour

This full day tour begins at the Western Development Museum. The Western Development
Museum (WDM) showcases the typical Saskatchewan town of the early 1900s, and captures
the atmosphere and style of a bustling settlement. The afternoon will find you at Wanuskewin
Heritage Park, a proposed UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wanuskewin works to advance the
understanding and appreciation of the evolving cultures of the Northern Plains indigenous
peoples.


Innovation Place/Canadian Light Source and Saskatchewan Research Council
Innovation Place is adjacent to the University of Saskatchewan and builds on the strengths of
the University in agriculture, information technologies, resources and the life sciences, as well
as the strengths of the Federal and provincial agencies either in or immediately adjacent to
Innovation Place. The Canadian Light Source or synchrotron is a source of brilliant light that
scientists can use to gather information about the structure of materials at the molecular level.

development, and the transfer of innovative scientific and technological solutions, applications

ARTS TOUR

This tour will showcase the best of Saskatchewan art. You will visit the Saskatchewan Craft
Gallery, and Gordon Snelgrove Gallery. Lunch will be fabulous Shift restaurant at Remai
Modern, with a tour and program at the Remai Modern.

ANNUAL WINE TASTING EXCURSION & HARVEST DINNER FEAUTURING DUELING PIANOS- 2.5 hours

Join us on our Annual Wine Tasting Excursion & Harvest Dinner Show tour! Guests will enjoy a
guided sampling with pairing while journeying between Cudworth and Wakaw. A Harvest
Dinner will be presented by our guest featured caterer at the Cudworth Community Hall. A
dueling piano performance will follow.

Community Hall following the excursion.

HERITAGE TRAIN-2.5 hours

History and Heritage under Prairie Skies – come for a leisurely ride through the open prairies
with a guide giving local historical facts. Tour leaves Ogema Train Station and goes to
Horizon, Sask. where your will receive an exclusive tour of a 1922 Federal Grain Elevator and
then return to the Ogema Train Station.

SETTLER’S SUPPER-3.5 hours

Come and experience the yester year of pioneer travel and way of life. Step back in time
with a beautiful train ride across the prairies to our destination Horizon. Guests are invited
to wear period dress themselves to get the full Settler experience! The pioneer meal consists
of BBQ Beef, Home Style Baked Beans, Apple Cider Coleslaw, Raw Veggies and Dip, Pickled
Beets, Cowboy Biscuits, Pies, (Apple, Raisin, Pumpkin and Ice Cream and one non-alcoholic
beverage, all locally provided by Candy’s Catering.
