This morning, start your day with a panoramic tour of Montréal. Some highlights include
Jacques Cartier Square, McGill University, and St. Joseph’s Oratory; the tour concludes with a
stop high atop Mount Royal, ascended by Jacques Cartier in 1535 and the jewel of Mount Royal
Park, to soak in the spectacular view. The afternoon is yours. Sit in a sidewalk cafe, visit a
museum, or browse some of the city’s many famous shops. This evening, experience a taste of
Montréal during dinner at a local restaurant in the Old Port.

Day 3

Montreal – Quebec city

Montreal – Quebec city
Journey to historic Quebec City, a city with a romantic ambiance reminiscent of Paris. Later
today, it’s your choice! Join a local guide who will transport you back in time as you explore the
streets of Old Quebec City on foot; see the Place Royale and listen to stories of days gone by as
you stroll through historic squares and admire the impressive architecture -OR- embark on a
panoramic coach tour to experience the beauty and history of both Old and New Quebec. See
the provincial Parliament, the St. Louis Arch, and the site of the original settlement of the city of
Quebec. Your day concludes at the city’s famous Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. Spend two
nights in this grand castle-like hotel majestically overlooking the old city. This evening, enjoy
dinner at a charming restaurant.

Day 4

Quebec City

Begin your day with breakfast at a local sugar shack nestled in the Quebec countryside. Learn
about the custom of maple syrup-making and enjoy sampling delicious traditional foods made
with this local product. Before leaving, try a favorite regional treat – maple taffy made in the
snow! Return to Quebec City and spend the remainder of your day at leisure wandering the
quaint streets and exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site. Hop on the funicular for a scenic
ride between lower and upper Old Quebec.

Day 5

Quebec City - La Malbaie, Charlevoix Region

This morning, head to the Albert Gilles Copper Museum to learn about the art of copper and
enjoy a demonstration on the detailed work involved in each creation. Then set off for the
breathtaking Charlevoix region stopping en route at a lavender farm. Learn about the
production of lavender and get the chance to sample some lavender treats for yourself. Later,
make your way to the luxurious Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, your home for two nights.

Day 6

Charlevoix Region

Today, take to the water and embark on a whale-watching expedition for a unique encounter
with these fascinating and majestic creatures. Take in the beauty of the natural surroundings in
the heart of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park. A naturalist guide will introduce you to
the many species of marine mammals that reside in the St. Lawrence River. The remainder of
the day is at leisure to take advantage of your resort’s many amenities* such as the spa, golfing,
and hiking. Or, simply relax and soak up the views.

Day 7

La Malbaie, Charlevoix Region – Montebello

This morning, arrive at Montmorency Falls and board a cable car that takes you up-close. Stand
in awe as the river plunges 272 feet off the Canadian Shield, approximately 100 feet higher than
Niagara Falls. Admire the stunning views from the many lookout points before heading back by
cable car or by foot. Later, arrive at the Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello and luxuriate in the
